World Tai Chi Day will be celebrated in Orlando on April 24, 2010. Florida online magazine Asia Trend covered the event in 2009.They have some great photos of the event on in their article. Beginning in New Zealand, this event will be a wave of energy circling the globe through sixty countries. The exact location of the park will be announced closer to the event. It will be one of the Orange County Parks and Recreation parks.

There will be an AAU District Qualifier in Orlando on April 26, 2008. All competitors must be current AAU members. Coaches must complete a coaching clinic to coach. A coaching clinic will be offered in the Orlando area on April 25,2008.
